The Story:

Our journey begins as we embark on a road trip through the mountains of the PNW. Our plan is to highlight a variety of adventures, from sunrise tours in the backcountry, to wandering through the culturally rich towns that lay nestled beneath these mountains. There will be a special focus on the audience yearning for the real, taking roads less travelled and experiencing hidden gems off the beaten track. All while capturing the cool, small town charms and culture of the PNW has to offer over the course of a week.

Our goal is to assist REI with your marketing needs by capturing fresh and modern photo and video assets for your content library. In addition, we want to share these images and tell stories of our road trip with our audience of 42+ thousand people.

Using our social media channels, we will highlight the stunning scenery, authentic and real community experiences and aim to showcase the benefits of traveling in comfort with REI.

How @therollingvan & Citizen North came to be.

Three years ago, we went gunnin’ for the road unknown. This moment ignited our odyssey of travel, self-exploration and a career we never expected. Picking up some camera gear early in our travels, we began documenting this lifestyle as if it were our day job. Funny thing, that’s exactly what came to be.

Images and videos were the perfect way to express the authentic stories we were seeking to share. These same stories connected us to reputable brands, corporate companies, and local businesses.

Four years later we started a full services creative agency, Citizen North. We pride ourselves in being light and fast to accommodate the pace of new media. Every day is a new challenge that we embrace with open arms and a spirited enthusiasm.
