Chasing Fall Foliage with Topo Designs.

How can we make the most out of travelling locally and rediscovering our backyard.

The Journey:

Following a week long fall campaign for Tourisme Québec (Canada's second largest tourism industry), we’ll be switching gears and chasing world class fall colours all over Québec and Ontario.

We’re helping encourage Canadians to create their best travel moments in their own backyard this fall. Autumn draws all eyes to the east coast and fall foliage content becomes vital to pull viewers to your page. There’s no better moment for Topo Designs to be featured. This journey will be about chasing and embracing the moment. Finding the best fall colours is takes skill and is more of a challenge than some may expect. The colours change in different regions at different times. Remaining alert and following weather conditions becomes vital to getting the most out of this season. We want our audience to be encouraged to explore the vibrant cities and charming towns, provincial parks and other well-kept secrets. This campaign is directly focused around inspiring and enabling all people to get outside and enjoy autumn.

Millennials are flocking to all different forms of travel whether it’s boutique and luxurious staycations, van life or camping, we are here to encourage them to get out and explore our Canadian backyard!

Deliverables.

 

The goal of this project is to create a multi-faceted story shared across multiple mediums and platforms. A magnetic short film, stunning imagery and engaging articles shared throughout social and traditional media. We’re experts at producing high quality and engaging content. We invite Topo Designs to escape the ordinary and join us on our upcoming road trip. We’ll take your products along for the ride to capture authentic and inspired content.

How @therollingvan & Citizen North came to be.

Three years ago, we went gunnin’ for the road unknown. This moment ignited our odyssey of travel, self-exploration and a career we never expected. Picking up some camera gear early in our travels, we began documenting this lifestyle as if it were our day job. Funny thing, that’s exactly what came to be.

Images and videos were the perfect way to express the authentic stories we were seeking to share. These same stories connected us to reputable brands, corporate companies, and local businesses.

Four years later we started a full services creative agency, Citizen North. Based in Montreal, Québec we are fortunate to have great access to the outdoors and still make plenty of time to get back to our roots of road trips and backcountry adventures. We pride ourselves in being light and fast to accommodate the pace of new media. Every day is a new challenge that we embrace with open arms and a spirited enthusiasm.
